2015 Fall Marathon / Half Marathon Training Program
Week 14 Run: Run the Monon! (October 10, 2015)

The 10th annual Indy Runners Fall Race Training Program for full and half marathons returns! This program is FREE to club members. (Not a member yet? Join us!) The program began Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 7:30am (8:00am starting in October) and continues each Saturday on the wooden deck at the corner of Westfield Blvd and Winthrop Ave. in Broad Ripple. This informal program will suggest distances preparing participants for October/November races, in particular the Indianapolis Marathon and Monumental Marathon. We averaged 70-100 participants per week last year! Get the details.
Sixth Annual "Run The Monon" Event!
On October 10, 2015, Indy Runners will again run the Monon Trail, from 146th St. and Lowes Way in Carmel to the American College of Sports Medicine (20 miles!) in downtown Indianapolis. We'll follow it with boxed lunches. A half marathon training distance (11 miles) will be available starting at E. 75th Street. This is a great opportunity to get in a special long run as part of your marathon or half marathon training! Registration must be received by October 8, 2015. Click here for the details. 2015 Indianapolis Marathon Finish Line Volunteers
For 19 years, Indy Runners has provided volunteers at the start/finish line for the Indianapolis Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K in Lawrence, IN. This year's race is on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Tenative information: We will work the first shift start/finish line from 7:30am to 11:30am and need 15 volunteers of high school age or older race morning. Volunteer Ticket Checkers Needed for Butler Men's Basketball Games

Come Enjoy Our Club Runs and Walks
Indy Runners offers several club runs and walks each week. These runs occur year-round, including right now! We have a Sunday run at Ft. Harrison, Tuesday run at Hinkle Fieldhouse, Wednesday run and walk at the downtown Atheneaum YMCA, Thursday run in Broad Ripple starting July 2nd, and a Saturday run and walk in Broad Ripple. If you haven't made it out to a weekly club run or walk in a while (or ever), we invite you to come out and join us!
New Discount on the Popular Speed Sessions!
Indy Runners offers the opportunity to be involved with weekly quality running sessions arranged by Coach Matt Ebersole of Personal Best Training. This 18 week session on Tuesday evenings started July 7, 2015 for only $50. Club members can enjoy the rest of the series for only $35! It's not too late to join.
