    Running Partner

    HI EVERYONE!

I stumbled upon this website, so I thought I would check it out. I just moved to the Indy/Carmel area in June (for a new job). I'm a recent college grad - 22-year-old female.. I love to run! I was a competitive cross country/track runner in college (DI). Lately, I haven't had the time or the energy to get out there, but I'm gradually adjusting and finding time for myself, even if it is before work. If anyone is interested in getting together (motivating one another!), I would LOVE a partner or two.. My highest mileage in college was up in the 70s, BUT... I haven't run in quite some time.. It's going to take me a few weeks to get back into shape. Anyone out there wanna join me, just let me know? Like I said.. right now, I'm working my way back into shape. Company would be appreciated.. Long runs anywhere between 6-10 miles @ about 7:30-8:00ish pace right now (guessing).

    Thanks!

    Re: Running Partner

Hi!  I have also just graduated from college (d1 runner) and would love to run with someone my own age.  I live in the Castleton area and do long runs at about 7:30 pace.  Right now I am doing about 30 miles a week but would like to increase that.  If you would like to try to run together, let me know.

I'm the point of contact for the Tuesday/Thursday Indy Runners club runs at Hinkle Fieldhouse (http://indyrunners.org/view-content.cfm?sectionID=11).  There are a few of us around that pace who run with the club on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm.  You're welcome to join us.

    Re: Running Partner

Carmel isn't too far, I don't believe, and I'm also looking for a run group.  Just left the Army, 30 yo married male, NW side of Indy.  I see there's a lot of good activity down at Hinkle, but that's a bit too far for early AM drives (for me, anyway).  Have a friend that lives by Eagle Creek, but he runs evenings only.  I'm running a 5k route tomorrow to see what pace I'm at now, so I don't know what a competitive time is for any of you.

ack forgot i just had a birthday: *31 yo

also noticed the Hinkle runs are in the evening.  I'll have to get used to 6:00 meaning both 6 am and 6 pm Big Smile [:D].  I might like to try that if you have different ability groups (8-9 min mile, etc).
