It has taken a while, but SmartCoach training is starting to work out. I am in the middle of training for the White River Run in Anderson on May 17th. I ran the Run with Scufffy in Shelbyville this morning and had my best 5K race in 3 years. The program has 2 slow short runs, 1 slow long run, and 1 speed day each week. The speed days alternate every other week between 1/2 mile intervals and 5-6 mile tempo runs.
I am not as good as my allies think nor as bad as my enemies think. I am just a man trying to do his best.
