    Indoor tracks for Winter

Hello all, I am becoming quite frustrated in trying to find some place to run inside in the winter.  Currently the only places I know of are Hinkle Fieldhouse, but this is hit or miss because there are often events going on that foil my plans.  The other place I have run at is at the new Carmel Clay Monon Center.  They have a 1/8 mile track, but this is a little far for me to travel to and I can't bring myself to pay for a membership as I feel the rest of the facilities don't fill all my needs.  Any suggestions?  The Westview Healthplex also has a track and from what it sounds like great facilities but at $300 up front and $100/month this is ridiculous

    Thanks!

NIFS has an indoor track. Memberships cost $195 initiation fee and then $51.50/mo. Or you can pay a monthly fee of $80,  $40/week, $12/day (without initiation fee in these three last cases). Fees are lower if you are a student. I don't know what other benefits a membership provides. Check their website http://www.nifs.org/

    Hope this helps!

Bally's at Keystone at the Crossing has a 1/16 mile indoor track.  Membership is $19/month, with no upfront fees or contracts.... I think.  That's where I run right now.

The Bally's at Keystone is pretty small, as stated above, but the other 2 Bally's in Greenwood and near Lafayette Square are  bigger and identical... I would guess about 130 yards, or about  13 laps to the mile.  Half decent 2 straights, plus 2 shorter ones...  rectangles with rounded corners.  A Bally's membership is good at all 3 places.
