How to submit an event to the Race Calendar

Don't see a race or event on the Indy Runners Race Calendar? In just a few quick steps, you can submit an event such as a run, triathlon, cycling, or adventure race.

First, you need to have an IndyRunners.org username and password. If you've created this already, then you can skip this step. If you have not done this already, then head to the IndyRunners.org Registration page. After you submit the registration form, you wil be logged in to the IndyRuners.org site.

If you already have a username and password, just login to the IndyRunners.org site.

After you've logged into the site, you're now ready to submit an event to the Indy Runners Race Calendar.

You will be asked to answer a few questions about the event which should only take 1 or 2 minutes. When you've finished, you can submit the event and we will be alerted by e-mail that there's a new event available for the Race Calendar.

Why should I submit events to the Race Calendar?

Because everyone benefits. We know there are a lot of great races and events available throughout the midwest and U.S., but we aren't able to find them all -- we need your help!

For Race Directors: By submitting your event to the Indy Runners Race Calendar, you are increasing the number of potential participants -- at no cost to you. If any event information changes, you can return to the IndyRunners.org site and edit the information online.

For IndyRunners.org visitors: If you know of a race that is not included on the Indy Runners Race Calendar, please feel free to submit it. You are helping your fellow runner or walker find an event that they may have otherwise not known about. If a Race Director submits the same event at a later date, we will attempt to remove the duplicate entry. Please note that Tuxedo Brothers and Ken Long & Associates do submit their events to the Race Calendar.

The Indy Runners Race Calendar is set up to handle events from all 50 states, so feel free to add events outside of Indiana.

• All events are now automatically Approved. We typically will not remove an event unless it is a duplicate entry or contains material unsuitable for the IndyRunners.org audience.
• If you have an event that repeats, save time by using the Copy Race feature found in My Races -> View Submitted Races.
