The Danville Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting it's fourth annual Blanton Woods Fun Run. Both Runners and Walkers are welcome at this event. The Fun Run will be held on Saturday, July 4th at Ellis Park in Danville. Participants can preregister or register the day of at 7:45am. The race will begin promptly at 8:30am. Participants will meet at the Train Station in Ellis Park. The cost for the event is $15.00 per person with preregistered contestants receiving a t-shirt. Recognition will be given to the top two Male and Female finishers.
Proceeds will go to the beautification of Ellis Park. Sign Up Today!
In addition to the 5k Run, the park will also be offering a Free Kids 1 Mile Run for kids 14 and under. Kids will receive a t-shirt and medal.
