Be a part of the largest road race in Bartholomew County. The 13th Annual Mill Race Race & Mayor's Walk features events for all members of the family and all levels of runners/walkers: 15K Run, 5K Run/Walk, and Kids Fun Run. The 15K and 5K courses are flat, fast and USATF certified. Starting downtown and winding through downtown, Donner Park and near north side neighborhoodsthe 5K run/walk and 15K run courses join the Peoples Trail in Noblitt Park. The last 1.5 miles are on paved, shaded paths along the river front and crosses the covered bridge and end in Mill Race Park. Enjoy the fun at the finish line, and cheer on over 250 elementary aged children in the FREE Kids Fun Run. Our Kids Fun Run is designed for children ages 2 to 12. Three heats will be run with distances appropriate for age groups 2 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12-year olds. Entry field opens on May 15th. Fees are the same as 2008! Enter online or download an entry form off our web site, www.millracerace.org. Once you cross the finish line, enjoy one of the many downtown events also happening on race day the Sustainable Living Fair, Columbus Area Arts Council Iron Pour or Fair on the Square. Participate in a race that, like Columbus itself, is unexpected and unforgettable.
